Reclaiming

I am good for me

a gate, a passage ... pretty sculpted rock (you) birthed a ripple

a lotus flower, i open for me, for you

and, that's the beginning

the ripple blossoms

yawning, soft fragrant petal after petal

your lips, on my lips  ... a flicker

sweet pulp and honeyed nectar, i share

ember to flame to blooming fire

burned through thickets, unearthed forgotten well-pool

deep, lucid, and infinite ... i remember now

i remember me

running in the rain, fat drops on my cheeks and lashes and lips

mixing with tears - hot, voluptuous, salty - like your sweat now

i remember, i remember

hold my hand

i remember

i trust

you

Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.
