I cannot decide whether it is better to reside in the bliss of ignorance to the lunacy that is going on in the world or to be aware and conscious of it and become a lunatic myself.
The more I read about the AIG bonus fiasco, the more my urge to do something utterly crazy becomes ... I am baffled, perplexed, shocked that the American public (including myself) sits around as tax dollars earned with the sweat of the average persons brow are funneled into the already bulging personal accounts of undeserving multimillionaire executives. Is this really my world? Seriously? It just can't be.
While the elderly of this country swallow their dignity and resort to eating cat and dog food beacause they cannot afford normal human food, these bastards get big fat bonuses for putting companies under and screwing all the little helpless folk downstream of this financial river.
What can the average person do? Protest? Get livid? Scream, shout? Or, just accept our triviality in the forest of big trees where we creen our thin necks for a dabble of sunshine?
And now, back to more important things like ... renal physiology ... but really, if all our kidneys failed none of this would be happening and if mine weren't working I guess I would be less concerned about all "this" ... so thank you my little nephrons for being such loyal little troopers.
